Navigating Healthcare's Next Frontier

Insights on AI, Operational Intelligence and Smarter Decision-Making

Across healthcare, leaders are facing growing pressure to improve operations, reduce costs and make smarter decisions in increasingly complex environments. But as new technologies, AI capabilities and operational data continue to expand, many organizations are asking the same question: how do we move from information overload to meaningful action?

That question has been at the center of several recent webinars hosted by Pointcore, where we explored how data, technology and strategic planning are reshaping healthcare operations. These conversations highlighted the growing importance of leveraging AI and operational intelligence to drive informed decision-making and optimize performance.

In a recent webinar hosted in partnership with Becker’s Healthcare, Pointcore, along with a strategy expert from GE HealthCare, discussed the evolving role healthcare technology management (HTM) now plays in both operational performance and financial sustainability.

The discussion explored how aging medical equipment, limited resources and increasing operational complexity are forcing health systems to rethink traditional approaches to biomedical technology strategy. Rather than treating HTM as a reactive function, organizations are viewing it as a strategic area that directly impacts patient care, machine uptime and financial performance.

Throughout the conversation, panelists emphasized the importance of having better visibility into healthcare environments, including equipment utilization, asset management and operational workflows, to support more informed decision-making and planning.

In another recent webinar hosted with Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA), Pointcore explored how healthcare organizations are beginning to move beyond AI experimentation and toward measurable operational outcomes.

The discussion focused on one of healthcare’s biggest current challenges: organizations have more data than ever before, but many still struggle to transform that information into actionable insights that drive real improvement.

Pointcore leaders explored how AI and advanced analytics can help healthcare leaders identify operational inefficiencies, uncover hidden trends and better understand the relationships between people, processes and environments. The webinar also highlighted the importance of building strong data foundations and governance structures before implementing advanced AI capabilities.

A Connected View of Healthcare

Across both conversations, one theme remained consistent: healthcare organizations need better ways to connect operational data to inform decision-making in real time.

That challenge is part of what led Pointcore to develop Perception, our data intelligence solution designed to help healthcare leaders visualize environments, uncover insights and make more proactive (not reactive) operational decisions.

By combining healthcare expertise, AI capabilities and operational data, Perception helps organizations move beyond static dashboards and disconnected data points toward a more connected understanding of how their operations function.
